Welcome to State Preschool Community School

The State Preschool program in Sulphur Springs Union School District is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality early childhood education experience for children ages 3 to 5. This program is designed to support the developmental needs of young learners through a comprehensive curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Our goal is to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten by fostering foundational skills in language and literacy, early math and science concepts, problem-solving, and social interaction. The preschool environment is safe and welcoming, encouraging children to explore, create, and learn through play-based activities and hands-on experiences.

Qualified and passionate teachers guide children in a variety of learning centers tailored to stimulate curiosity and creativity, including reading, art, sensory play, and motor skills development. The program also emphasizes building strong relationships between families, teachers, and the community to support children’s overall well-being and growth.

Sulphur Springs Union School District’s State Preschool serves families who meet eligibility requirements, with priority given to children from low-income households, English learners, and those with special needs. We provide ongoing assessments and individualized support to ensure each child’s unique strengths and challenges are addressed.
